When I was growing up we had your basic, standard-issue, metal potato peeler and it worked great. But now, even the ones that look like that aren't nearly as sharp as that old one was. It's harder than it needs to be to just get the peeling started. Well... thank goodness Hubby likes instant potatoes just a well. It's me that prefers the real thing. :) And I totally hid it.
